Tabia's first day.

I sat in Zoe's car, waiting. The passenger door was open and my feet were on the concrete. As I'd promised, I was in school in the parking lot, waiting for Tabia.

I entered the parking lot. God I was dreading today, but I put on a fake smile. I looked around for Beth, as she had promised she was waiting for me. I walked over to her, a bit more truth in my smile. My hair was curled and fell to my shoulders, my usual black high heels noisely drawing attention to me. I sighed as I reached Beth. God I'm dreading this. I said, feeling everyones eyes boring into the back of my head. I wanted to go home, or throw up.
